Blooming…

This is the Albertine Rose which scrambles up the front of our cottage. A real beauty, whose one fault is to only do it for three weeks in June. However, in the heat of our amazing Indian Summer it’s indulging us with a few more blossoms.

So a quick wave hello as this weekend is hectic and full.  Our youngest little flower, Aimee, (she of the disapearing snood!) is off to London and university where she too will be able to bloom, and we’re all on our way tomorrow with a white van containing all her worldly goods.

Higgins too has gone off on his hols,  it’s sooooo quiet here without him.  It’s strange to drop something on the floor and not have to chase round the garden to get it back, and cyclists can ride past without being astonished by a little head popping out through a small hole in the gate.

It’s all very strange…

So I’ll leave you with a Higgins stand in….

Don’t forget there is still time to enter in the Draw by choosing a name for the little cow, with the chance to win a fabulous Julie Arkell book.  I’ve looked on line and it’s hard to find a copy to buy, so this is a great opportunity.  Go to this post and find out all about it.

I’ll see you soon, have a lovely weekend x
