Celebrating February…

…and this year with an extra day!  I hope you are all enjoying your ‘Leap day’  and the sun is shining.  I’ve just been sorting through the February images, it’s gone very quickly, but so much has happened!

Thank you all for all the comments and encouragement,  I do love to hear from you all, and have had quite a few chats via the contacts box!

As well as everything else next month I am planning to pick up my felting needles again as Open Studios is on the horizon, and I have several ideas buzzing round my head for that, and of course things will be gathering speed in the garden… oh for an extra 12 hours in the day!

So for now I’ll leave you with the February Mosaic…

…and I’ll be back soon …x

About penny

I live in Norfolk, England in a cottage on the edge of the Norfolk Broads where it can be peaceful and beautiful, or wet and muddy, or occasionally wild and windswept. With me is husband Tim, Henry the elderly and opinionated tabby cat, and Higgins, the miniature dachshund with a massive personality. You’ll find me chattering on about wool and textiles, knitting and crochet, recipes, books and patterns, exhibitions and shopping and of course, the adventures of a small dog! Planet Penny has a Facebook Page, you can find me on UK Handmade and I am featured on Channel4/4Homes Favourite Craft Blog List.

Those rainbow mice really are super! Love them!!!!!

Used some PP cotton last night with a 3mm hook, I really liked it – easy to use and I enjoyed using a smaller hook for a change. I tend to go for 3.5 or 4mm. I’ll blog what I’ve made at the weekend…. 🙂

Our weather could best be described as changeable – but it’s reasonably warm (especially for February!) and the sun popped out for a bit earlier, so no complaints here.

I just love that bunting! It’s perfect. And the rainbow of mouse rumps; and the orange rose; and the crocuses; and of course the sprightly Mr. H in his cheery red coat.

Look at all those jewel colours, I love the rainbow mice and the mini bunting, very cheery indeed!

I can’t believe we are heading into the third month, it doesn’t seem that long since Christmas. Lovely mosaic!
