Happy Friday Number 10

This is a ‘skin-of-the-teeth’ Happy Friday post!  I’ve been so worried I wouldn’t get here at all this afternoon…

If I say internet problems I’m sure you’ll know where I’m coming from.  At the moment BT Openreach are digging holes all over the place in our area and we can only hope that eventually faster broadband will reach our corner of a muddy field.  I don’t know anyone else who’s internet stops every time the phone rings!

Anyway, that’s not cheerful, is it?  What has made me very happy this week was an amazing donation of one hundred dollars to Comic Relief Red Nose Day made for Miranda Mouse, whom you might remember from this post.

Miranda is off to the US, and left today with her suitcase.  I’m rather sad to see her go, but really pleased with the fantastic donation…

Hehe, you’ve reminded me of my first car in which the windscreen wipers interfered with the radio’s signal… on a wet day i had to drive in silence! I hope the work they’re doing brings some improvement to your internet connection, computers are the most infuriating things when they won’t do what you want them to!

Miranda Mouse is enchanting, i’m sure her new owner will treasure her, Well done for raising such a fantastic amount for comic relief 🙂 x

Hello Penny. Miranda is the cutest little mouse! I can’t believe you made all of her clothes too; the handbag, sweater, suitcase are all adorable. I hope she will be happy in her new home in America. Have a great weekend 🙂

Miranda Mouse is lovely! I like her being a travelling sort of mouse, with her suitcase packed and her bag on her shoulder, all ready for new adventures.

I wish Miranda a safe journey to foregn lands. She’s beautiful.

I REALLY thought I was the only one in the world who loses internet connection when the phone rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not going mad after all.

Thank you Penny for a super blog. I read often but don’t often comment.

Hello Penny – my sympathies about the internet – my happiest moment this last week was seeing those green lights on my router box 🙂 Your mouse is beautiful and I am in awe of your sewing skills – great that she raised so much money too xxx

I saw Miranda Mouse over on your face book page, she’s such a cutie. What a great way to raise money for Red Nose Day 🙂
Sympathies with your internet, I live in one of the worse area’s of Suffolk and often have to twiddle my thumbs waiting for pages to load.

This is the first time I’ve linked up to Happy Friday (I know I’m a little bit late with it being Sunday already!)! I hope that I’ve done it right! Going to get myself a cuppa now and enjoy browsing the other links 🙂
