Helloooo…! What’s made you smile this week? Here’s one of my own Happy Friday moments…
…it doesn’t do to get dressed in the dark!
As mentioned in my last post, I got my mum knitting again. This not only made me happy, but all the rest of the family too…
And I finished and posted my lovely ‘Zing’ squares to Lisa of Bobobun for the ‘Do You Mind If I Knit Blanket’ so I had a great sense of achievement.
So now it’s down to you. What’s made you happy this week?
Tell us all about it by joining in via the Linky below. If you haven’t done it before, don’t be shy. You can find out just what to do here. Enjoy a Happy Friday, have a lovely weekend and I’ll be back soon…x
Hi Penny – lovely to hear that you’ve got your mum knitting again 🙂
I love the photo of your Mum’s hands knitting again! All grist to her mill! And she has lovely hands – strong creative fingers there. Once a creative person, always one, I think, and even if one has fallow times when not much happens or can happen for whatever reason, the instinct is there under the surface. I hope whatever your Mum is knitting she is loving for what it says about her own creative spirit as much as anything else. Love Elizabeth x
It’s so nice to see your dear Mom knitting again. I’m so happy for you! Thanks again for hosting this wonderful party 🙂
I hope you don’t mind me linking twice. Suddenly realised that by next Friday I will be a bit late to do a heart Valentine post.
Dear Penny,
You make me smile with your “Croks” because I ‘ve lived the same things 2 weeks ago …
in the dark… I’ve 2 differents boots (the same model of shoes but not the same height!)… I was late for my train and I don’t pay attention… My pants were long and when I arrived at work, I realized that … I shared this with my colleagues and we really started the day ..
Besides the following days, I had to prove that I had put the “good” shoes !!
Have a nice day….
Bye bye !
Another lover of brightly coloured Crocs here Penny, hand knitted socks too. I must finish the last one of my latest pair, it is hard going because the wool is not nice to knit with.
I smiled with a tear today seeing your mum knitting.
It’s so lovely that you have got your Mum to start knitting again. I rather like the mismatched crocs – you could start a trend! x
Smiles all round this week! Glad your Mum has rediscovered knitting – it’s good for the soul as well as the hands! xx
Hehe, getting dressed in the dark can definitely make for some interesting fashion statements! 🙂
How lovely that your mum has taken up knitting again 🙂 xx
I love my croks, I have blue for outdoors and lilac for indoors 🙂 I haven’t mixed them up yet, however I do wear mis matched socks 🙂
Your different coloured crocs have certainly made me smile. It’s lovely to see that your Mum has picked up her knitting needles again. Ali xx
