This Happy Friday is the big one, because co-incidentally, it’s also International Day of Happiness. Who knew? But what a fabulous idea!
And if you want to join in with a happy dance click here!
I did a little happy dance the other day when I received an email asking if I would like to be a contributor to a new website all about crochet. I can’t say more at the moment because it’s all a bit in the air, but even so, I was asked….squeee…!
It’s been a bit cold and grey here in Norfolk this week, but spring is still in the air, and is very uplifting to the spirits…
(I’m so hoping the cloud breaks tomorrow for the eclipse, otherwise I’ll have to watch it on television!)
…and it’s lovely to have flowers in the garden to pick (although I think the hellebore was the victim of a small rampaging dog!)
You can take part in International Day of Happiness in lots of ways if you visit the website and use #InternationalDayOfHappiness on Twitter or Instagram. You are such a positive lot, I’m sure you’ll want to! Joining in with Happy Friday on the Linky is as usual, please remember to link to this post from your own as well as adding your link. We want to spread the happiness!
Have a lovely weekend…x
Hi Penny, loving the flowers! We don’t have any flowers in our garden, and my orchids are feeling the cold – sigh. I’ll have to get a bunch of daffodils to brighten up the place 🙂 Just a note too, I tried to link the picture using the HTML on your “Join in with Happy Friday” page and I think there’s an error in the code as it wouldn’t show on my blog. If I’m being dense, please let me know!
Well…I *did* buy some YARN “on sale” today! And, *didn’t* have to SHOVEL… so, yeah… I’m *HAPPY*!!
😀
Beautiful flowers – so cheery. Sadly, it’s far to cloudy to see the eclipse where we are – I hope it’s better near you. Have a happy weekend. x
Happy Friday! Thanks for all the info on the International day of happiness. Very appropriate for it to be on the spring equinox.
Happy Friday Penny – hope you managed to catch the eclipse where you are x
Lovely flower pictures! The weather was so sunny here we could only see the eclipse on a piece of paper as an image so not able to get any atmospheric photos!
I hope you had a cloud free sky to watch the eclipse! I love your springtime photos, I can’t help feeling excited for the summer at this time of year!
Beautiful flower pictures Penny, I love the catkins, I didn’t see anything of the eclipse either, too much cloud but I have enjoyed some great pics on facebook 🙂
