The Spare Bed

Well, I thought I’d seen it all when it came to Higgins choosing his own bed, but when it came to buying a second one to cover those damp moments when the the blue one is in the wash, I wasn’t expecting this…

You just can’t trust these chaps to go shopping on their own!

About penny

I live in Norfolk, England in a cottage on the edge of the Norfolk Broads where it can be peaceful and beautiful, or wet and muddy, or occasionally wild and windswept. With me is husband Tim, Henry the elderly and opinionated tabby cat, and Higgins, the miniature dachshund with a massive personality. You’ll find me chattering on about wool and textiles, knitting and crochet, recipes, books and patterns, exhibitions and shopping and of course, the adventures of a small dog! Planet Penny has a Facebook Page, you can find me on UK Handmade and I am featured on Channel4/4Homes Favourite Craft Blog List.

Yes, I am going to have to do something about this pinkness! (I blame the creator of the Pink Sheep) but it was a rebellion against the black of the original template.

Cuteness is his only redeeming feature…

    Someone has usurped my identity!

I would have said that he is “very cute” and that pink is good, but a lot of pink is even better!

Whoops! That was me, Celia — sorry. I’ll check the box next time.

There’s a new sheep on the drawing board, as it happens. Not that you will be obliged to replace this one, of course. But one can never have too many pink sheep.

STILL TRYING TO AVERT THE EYES ! He is talking to me through the cyber space ! You understand my need for a bit of pink cushtyness, he’s saying! Lie on little lad, it won’t be pink for long. It’ll soon turn to a muted shade of grink. xxx just for you Higgers.
