Getting Sheepshape

Here we are, in the new look Planet Penny, where the sheep are more colourful and jollier than the poor chilly ones living in the fields nearby.

The doors are open and you are welcome to pop in and have a look round, but I’m afraid we’re still dashing round with paintbrushes and the vacuum cleaner so we’re not quite ready for the fireworks and cake just yet.

Besides, I have a headache…

About penny

I live in Norfolk, England in a cottage on the edge of the Norfolk Broads where it can be peaceful and beautiful, or wet and muddy, or occasionally wild and windswept. With me is husband Tim, Henry the elderly and opinionated tabby cat, and Higgins, the miniature dachshund with a massive personality. You’ll find me chattering on about wool and textiles, knitting and crochet, recipes, books and patterns, exhibitions and shopping and of course, the adventures of a small dog! Planet Penny has a Facebook Page, you can find me on UK Handmade and I am featured on Channel4/4Homes Favourite Craft Blog List.

    All the paint fumes ?
Great new look for your blog and I look forward to seeing … TaDah !! … the unveiling of the studio in all its painted and vacuumed glory .
Have you already planned your first project , or will you just be unpacking and dreaming for a while ?

Hello Penny, your new banner looks fab! Your blog is looking very smart, well done. It would be lovely to be able to see the whole of each post, rather than a ‘read more’. At the moment you can’t see any of the photos from previous blogs, and I liked the way I could just scroll down, rather than having to click on a link for each post. You sound very stressed and very busy! Have a long cuddle with Higgins, curl up and fall asleep together, I find that’s a good remedy for a headache! Looking forward to the champagne and cake! Love Vanessa xxx

‘felt’ I ought to drop by and say hello!

Not looking too “Baaa’d” at all! ‘Ewe’ should all be very pleased with yourselves 🙂

Much prefer the white to the pink – easier on the eyes to read. (and for some, less expensive to print things off! – says he having had his kids trash his inkjet printer)

    better not keep ‘bleating’ on!

    That reprobate of a “half-brother-in-law”
