I have news…happy news! Planet Penny has a new recruit lined up as Studio Assistant, Cuddle Sponge and Entertainments Officer. His job title is much longer than he is at the moment but he is doing his best to grow into it!
Here he is on the left, with his sister and mum.
It’s going to be while before he is ready to join us so I have some time to get into training for a fresh puppy experience. Higgins gave me plenty to go on, but I’m a bit rusty now. I also have the joys of the dachshund idea of ‘helping’ to look forward to, this was how Higgins did it!
Meanwhile, this little ray of sunshine and new life has got my creative juices flowing again and I’m making plans. My next post will be slightly less dog-centric, I promise. But in the meantime, I am besotted, aren’t you?!

I’m so pleased for you Penny, our little FurBabies leave us with such a large hole in our hearts, don’t they. I’m sure this dear little new furry person will fill your heart again and soon fulfil all those roles. Xx
So cute! When I have lost a beloved furry family member I have found the only way past the grief is a new furry distraction to keep me busy and make me laugh again. I am so pleased for you and nobody will ever forget Higgins, he was wonderful xx

That little dog is truly adorable and I’m sure will bring so much joy to your life. I’ve never had a dachshund but the ones I’ve met in obedience classes (been to lots of those as I have Border terriers) have been such characters! I wonder what name you have in mind for him?
